"Cricket Star Rohit Sharma Reveals Why He Chose ‘3015’ for His Lamborghini Urus"

This is Rohit Sharma's second Lamborghini Urus.

Rohit Sharma buys a new Lamborghini Urus SE - and fans can't stop talking about the number plate

India's ODI captain, Rohit Sharma, has added another gem to his enviable car collection - a brand new Lamborghini Urus SE in the eye-catching Arancio Argos (orange) colour. While the SUV's striking looks and performance are in the headlines, what caught the attention of fans was its distinctive number plate: '3015'.

Rohit's garage is already a playground for luxury cars, with everything from BMWs and Mercedes to his previous blue Lamborghini Urus. This latest acquisition, priced at around ₹4.57 crore (ex-showroom), is his second Lamborghini.

The Urus SE is not just about style - it's an upgraded powerhouse. With refreshed styling, a plug-in hybrid powertrain and an astonishing 800hp and 950Nm of torque, it sprints from 0-100 km/h in just 3.4 seconds. Crafted with a blend of performance, luxury and personal taste, this ride perfectly suits the Hitman's style.

Where is Rohit's first Lamborghini Urus now?

Earlier this year, Rohit Sharma parted ways with his first Lamborghini Urus - a striking blue car with the number plate '264'. But this was no ordinary sale; the cricketer gifted it to a lucky Dream11 contest winner.

That number plate was no fluke either - '264' is Rohit's highest ODI score, which he scored against Sri Lanka in 2014. For cricket fans, it's more than just a number; it's a piece of history.

Why Rohit Sharma chose '3015' for his new Lamborghini Urus number plate ?

This time, Rohit Sharma has given a deeply personal touch to his luxurious ride. The number '3015' is a tribute to the birthdays of his children - Samaira, born on December 30, and Ahan, born on November 15. '30' stands for Samaira's special day, while '15' stands for Ahan's.

It also has an extra layer of meaning - add 30 and 15 and you get the number 45 jersey, which Rohit proudly wears in international cricket. It's a number plate that brings together family, emotions and his iconic cricket identity.

Meanwhile, the 38-year-old last led Mumbai Indians in IPL 2025. After retiring from Tests and T20Is, Rohit is now focusing solely on ODIs, with the 2027 ICC Cricket World Cup as his target.

However, according to reports, the Indian team management may soon start shifting towards younger talent. This shift could see both Rohit and Virat Kohli step away from the 50-over format after the tour of Australia in October 2025.
